Verified is a simple drop down segmentation tool. Often it is used for a yes/no type of classification. A typical use would be when getting questionable lead lists as the leads are verified that the company and contact exist then the flag could be switched to yes with default being no or still unwashed.
Another common usage is for email Opt in and Opt Out. Sales Portal is not designed to manage your email lists and processes, but often a good customer or prospect will tell you not to email them. Generally, this is a good place to alert Salesman to the prospect or customer's requirements.
